Natalie + Wesley: An Evening of Rustic Elegance

The wedding of Natalie and Wesley was a weekend to remember. From Friday afternoon until Sunday brunch, there was not a moment that was not celebrated. We often grow close to brides and their families after spending countless months planning and organizing each and every detail, but this family was exceptional. With the help of Matron of Honor and sister, Kaydee, who was keen to details after planning her own wedding, and their mother Kim, it was an absolute delight organizing this three day affair.
If this wedding had a theme, we would call it Rustic Elegance. Though combining these two elements seems somewhat paradoxical, it was effortlessly flawless. The rustic nature draws from the burlap linens with the antique lace overlays to the iron candelabras, wooden tealight holders and table numbers. Elegance is conveyed through the warm uplighting by Ilios Lighting and bold floral design by Rancho Mirando Florals, using garden roses, succulents and a touch of sunflowers. Guests were treated to fun, fine dining by Don Strange , having several active food stations from the endless toppings at the macaroni and cheese bar to flavorful red fish tacos, mesquite grilled hot beef tenderloin, and brie and mango quesadillas. Most importantly, every guest had a pink prickly pear margarita in hand.
Above and beyond all consideration, however, is the love shared between Natalie & Wesley. Each photo conveys the absolute joy and happiness these two have for each other. Having revealed their first look in our upcoming and new ceremony site, Julio of Helo Photography captured absolute magic. Not a cloud in the sky to distract from the view, this couple radiated against the Rancho Mirando landscape. Days like this remind us why we love what we do, and we cannot wait to have more of them.
