We just love it when brides find inspiration in their Tex-Mex roots! We love the bright, bold, and beautiful decor that this style brings to mind.
This fiesta-inspired rehearsal dinner was all about the details. From the hand-painted Talavera plates from Mexico and the sparkling cobalt blue goblets, to the hundreds of vibrant colored LED pre-lit lanterns hanging amongst the banners of papel picado, each article was meticulously selected to fit within the theme. Right down to the maraca at each place setting.
Rancho Mirando Design Studio spared no detail, even making a special trip to Laredo to hand pick each of the rustic candelabras used for their floral centerpieces. The boldness of the arrangements derived from the exotic protea, projecting like a tiny firework in each centerpiece. Artist-in-residence Donna Aldred also incorporated succulents and roses in hot pink and orange to add to the Mexican flavor.
The magical tone was set for the evening by a performance by the all female mariachi Damas de Jalisco while guests sipped on frozen margaritas and enjoyed bacon wrapped quail breast and other authentic food catered by Verde’s Mexican Parrilla.
A wonderful symphony of sights and sounds combined to make this fiesta-inspired rehearsal dinner a night to remember for all. It’s a theme we can’t wait to carry out again.
