Rancho Mirando recently celebrated the harvest season with their first annual olive harvest gala!
Ranch owner Donna Aldred tackled the adventure of olive farming with gusto, like she has most everything else at the ranch. After initially growing lavender she made the decision to plant dozens of olive trees a few years ago to add to the farming operation. Last month, she gathered brave friends and familyRead More»
We always love it when our brides are featured in one of the popular national wedding blogs. The spring wedding of Michelle and Jordan, as captured by Amber Vickery (one of our a preferred vendors at Rancho Mirando because of her consistently beautiful work for Rancho Mirando brides) was recently featured on Snippet & Ink.
When asked why she chose Rancho Mirando for the site of her wedding ceremony, Michelle echoed the sentiment expressed by so many of our wedding couples and their families:
We wanted to get married outside and Rancho Mirando offered the perfect backdrop for what we had in mind. We wanted to capture the Texas hill country feel as a lot of our family lives outside of Texas. The setting was intimate and inviting.
The public is invited to enjoy wine, appetizers and dinner, as well as boot scooting to the Hot Texas Swing Band (shown above). The best part? It’s all for the dogs!
WAG Rescue is an all-volunteer supported organization committed to the rescue and adoption of dogs in the hill country. Since its inception, the number of dog adoptions annually in the Wimberley area has steadily increased from 13 in 2009 to 145 in 2014.
The mission of Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue is to come to the aid of abandoned, neglected, unclaimed and surrendered dogs and puppies in and around the Wimberley area.
The ladies who bring each of Rancho Mirando’s weddings to life love all of their brides. Getting to know each couple and sharing such an important milestone in their lives is the fuel for what this dynamic family team does tirelessly every week. Even so, every once in awhile a collaboration comes together with a spark of kismet that makes all involved feel divinely blessed.
When our April 2016 bride Shannon became engaged she immediately drug her fiancé, Ryan to tour Rancho Mirando as a possible venue for their wedding after she fell in love with it through The Knot. Upon arriving, Ryan realized that he’d been to the ranch before!Read More»
No one who knows and loves Rancho Mirando’s Donna Aldred would ever accuse her of being a technology expert. She’s been the driving force behind the design of the exclusive Rancho Mirando destination wedding packages that hill country brides covet for years. And yet with all the technology available to today’s brides, it wasn’t always so easy or streamlined to plan a beautifully designed Rancho Mirando wedding.
Until Donna became a power Pinterest user, that is.
Donna has always loved collecting snippets of this and that for her brides to use to plan their weddings. So once she finally gave up her notebooksRead More»
